HUAYU ENRICHMENT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM BY EDUCATION DIVISION, TAIPEI ECONOMIC AND CULTURAL OFFICE IN MALAYSIA

The Ministry of Education (MOE) offers the MOE Huayu Enrichment Scholarship Program to encourage Malaysian students to undertake Mandarin courses in the Republic of China (Taiwan) in order to provide them with opportunities to increase their understanding of Taiwanese culture and society and to promote mutual understanding and interactions between Taiwan and the international community.

The MOE Huayu Enrichment Scholarship Program is offered to Mandarin learners, including beginners, who want to study at any university-affiliated language centre in Taiwan.

The recipient will be awarded a fixed monthly stipend of NTD 25,000 (approximately RM3,600). The stipend can be used to cover the cost of tuition fees or other expenses. The scholarship duration is 3 or 6 months, starting September 1, 2024. Malaysian students above the age of 18 and who possess at least a high school diploma are eligible to apply. Huayu Enrichment Scholarship 2024, offered by the Ministry of Education, ROC (Taiwan), is open for applications until March 31, 2024!
